Return policy

If we got it wrong, we fix it.

Decorated goods are made to order and cannot be resold, so custom work is not returnable for a change of mind. What is always covered is our own error — wrong artwork, wrong placement, or a decoration defect. Tell us and we remake it.

This policy applies to work produced by digitalboutique.ink.

What we cover

If any of the following is true, contact us and we will remake the affected pieces at no charge, or refund them if a remake will not reach you in time.

  • The decoration does not match the proof you approved.
  • The artwork, placement or size differs from what was ordered and approved.
  • The garment style, color or size differs from what was ordered.
  • There is a decoration defect — stitching that has pulled or broken, a transfer that lifts or cracks in normal wear, thread color that does not match the approval.
  • The quantity delivered is short against the order.

What we do not cover

  • Change of mind. Decorated goods carry your artwork and cannot be resold, so they cannot be returned once produced.
  • Sizes or quantities ordered in error. Please check the size split before approving — we cannot restock decorated garments.
  • Anything matching an approved proof. Approval is the reference point for the whole order. If a proof was approved with a typo, a placement you later dislike, or artwork that was too small, that is the specification we produced to.
  • Normal wear, or damage from care. Fading, cracking or lifting caused by hot washing, bleach, fabric softener or high dryer heat. See the care guide.
  • Further decoration or alteration. Once a garment has been altered, re-pressed or decorated elsewhere, we can no longer assess what happened.

Timeframes

Inspect the order when it arrives. Report any problem within 14 days of delivery, before the garments are washed, worn, resold or decorated further. We cannot assess a fault in a garment that has been through a laundry.

Customer-supplied garments

We count in and inspect blanks on arrival and report shortages or mill defects before decoration begins. If we damage a garment you supplied, we replace the decoration cost and the wholesale cost of the blank. We cannot cover the retail value, or consequential costs such as a missed event — so on irreplaceable or discontinued goods, tell us before production and send a spare.

Garment faults from the mill

Blanks occasionally arrive with weaving flaws, dye inconsistencies or sizing outside tolerance. Where we supplied the garment we will pursue the manufacturer’s claim and replace the piece. Where you supplied it, we will report what we found so you can claim with your own supplier.

Cancelling an order

  • Before production. Cancel at no charge, except for work already carried out — digitizing and artwork setup are billable once done, and the digitized file is yours.
  • After production has started. Decorated pieces are chargeable in full. We will stop the remaining run where we can.
  • Garments already ordered in. Blanks bought for your order may carry a supplier restocking fee, which we will pass on at cost.

Refunds

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, or as a credit against a trade account, within ten business days of agreement. Where only part of an order is affected, we refund the affected pieces rather than the whole order.

Questions before you order

Most returns are prevented at the proof stage, which is the cheapest moment in the job to change anything. If you are unsure about a size split, a placement or whether artwork will hold up, ask us first — DigitalxBoutique@gmail.com, or through the contact page.
